Dom Gabrielli-

To A Teen Prostitute With AIDS

this world is a weeping symphony/from which it is good/to get the fuck away fast/the victory of rats/prophesied by many/is nigh/pimps hold the innocent to ransom/carving dreams from barely formed cocks/you cannot judge anyone/without first examining who you are/and yet/

the world is full of judges/who blame victims/for their own crimes

/if anyone laid a hand on your innocent breast /i could kill/if any one of these rats looked me in the eye with lust for you/i could kill again/i will protect innocence/first with my words/secondly with my fists/but rats rot you from within/they gnaw holes in your heart/before you are born/and call them mothers/resistance starts young/the commandments of non living/are inbred/they are in the rat race/the law legislates/doctors prescribe/and in unison they chant/you can't get out/you can't get out

you can't get out/but don't be fooled/because there are other laws/in a language of outlaws/how to cure yourself/another conception of body/start by writing/plot your escape/daily/find yourself in your words/don't ever be afraid/of what comes out/keep steady when it shakes/shake when it's too steady/let everything come out/in any form that suits/don't worry about publishers/they are another breed of rat//they'll say it's unpublishable/they'll talk about money/just laugh about that/know you'll lose anyway/be aware of what meaning is/before they twist it/and make it say something else/you never even implied/write/your first script of love/to someone who can hear/be dignified in courtship/because love exists/even though the rats try/to eat all the cheese/they call it porn/porn steals images of your beautiful bodies/idolising images of mute domination and boredom/how vile are these loveless films /write/to become another kind of bastard/another kind of lamb/write/when you find someone you can trust/don't let him go/don't leave him to cry/for some other joker with a fast quip/with great hopes and heaps of cash/with easy models of happiness/which always turn sour/you never get it easy/and when you do/something will always return/to smack you in the face/write/desire is like a fight/sometimes it's better to lose/than kick beauty in the face/every moment has its logic/and rats rewrite it all

/write /what you write/is nearly always true

  1. It feels like Jesus talk, a really profound street martyr that carries in his hands a girl... At the end when the hollow industry of meat switches the grinding machine there will be beauty bleeding
